  Third Party Legal Liability Insurance

A third party legal liability insurance is a form of liability insurance that covers real or legal persons against legal liabilities that arise due to claims for any bodily injury or material (property) damage caused to third parties by such real or legal persons and their employees.

 
  Employer's Legal Liability Insurance

 

An Employer?s Legal Liability Insurance Policy covers claims for damages incurred against an employer by the personnel employed under a contract of employment or registered with the Social Security Institution or by beneficiaries of such personnel, and claims for damages above and beyond benefits provided by the Social Security Institution, and claims for damages payable as a result of lawsuits filed for the recovery of loss, which are incurred as a result of workplace accidents in the course of their usual activity, as well as court expenses and attorney?s fees for which the employer is liable to pay in the aggregate, which will all be subject to insurance limits referred to in the policy.

  Umbrella Liability Insurance ( excess)

This policy increases limits of the existing liability policies. Its difference from an excess policy is the option to be able to provide insurance with more distinctive and comprehensive conditions than those of your existing policies.

 
  Product Liability Insurance & Product Recall Insurance

Producers (Manufacturers), Wholesalers, Distributors or Retailers are liable for personal injury or damage to property caused by a defective product used by a consumer as per national and international laws. The product liability insurance covers the legal liability arising from the personal (bodily) injury and damage to property suffered by a third party due to a defective product.

 
  Compulsory Liability Insurance for Medical Malpractice

Subject to limits set forth in the policy, this insurance contract shall provide insurance for claims, litigation costs related thereto, interests thereof or reasonable costs claimed against the insured during the contract term for losses which may be inflicted by self-employed physicians or physicians employed by public or private medical institutions and organizations, dentists, and other professionals deemed as specialists as per regulations concerning Specialty in Medicine, whilst performing their professional activities set out in the policy, as per the additional Article 12 of the Law No. 1219, during the decennial period prior to the contract term or during the contract term.

Elements of cover

The following table shows the maximum indemnity limit per each occurrence in respect of the Compulsory Liability Insurance for Medical Malpractice: In any case, the indemnity payable under the contract cannot exceed TRY 1,800,000.

 
  Professional Indemnity Insurance

This insurance can be purchased to indemnify the Insured in respect of any negligent act, error or omission arising out of business activities. The professional indemnity insurance applicable at this point is a form of insurance that provides protection for statutory damages that the insured will have to pay after such acts.

 
  Decennial Liability

 

Such insurance requested from contractors by the Employer and legally obligated in France or similar jurisdictions indemnifies the insured for expenses incurred as a result of the total or partial collapse of a building. The policy covers risks occurring in 10 years following the completion of construction.

 

 
  Environmental Pollution Legal Liability Insurance

The majority of costs in an environmental pollution loss in many cases are spent for the cleaning of the area where such a pollution event occurs.

The scope of insurance provided under fire and other liability insurance policies offers limited protection for handling possible effects of an environmental incident.

Compulsory Third Party Liability Insurance for Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Wastes and Bottled (Liquefied Petroleum) Gas Insurance provides protection for the bodily injury and property damage that third parties can sustain in consequence of accidents occurring during the performance of professional facilities of legal and natural persons engaged in the collection, carriage, temporary and interim storage, recovery, recycling, and disposal of hazardous wastes as stipulated under the Law on Environment 2872, and also accidents that companies engaged in the filling of liquefied petroleum gas may cause by explosion, gas leakage or fire outbreak at places where tubes are maintained.

Definition of the Insured Event

Kidnap: The seizure and holding of an insured person for the purpose of demanding a ransom

Extortion: Demands for ransoms coupled with the threat to kill or injure persons, damage property, contaminate products, disclose commercial secrets or private information or to destroy data by means of computer viruses  

Deprivation of freedom: The illegal detention of a person or the deprivation of their personal freedom by a government or rebel groups

Hijacking: The illegal deprivation of personal freedom by recourse to a means of transport (aircraft, motor vehicle, ship or train).
